This Week Andy & Len’s three of the best is English-American Rock Greats Foreigner.

Formed in 1976 in New York City by veteran English musician Mick Jones and ex-king crimson member Ian McDonald with American vocalist Lou Gramm.

Originally to be called Trigger, the name appearing on some early demo tapes, but another band with a similar name existed so Jones came up with the name Foreigner to acknowledge their trans-Atlantic credentials.

They are considered one of the world’s best selling bands of all time with sales of more than 80 million records, that includes over 37 million in the US alone.

Hit’s include “Cold as Ice”, “Waiting for a girl like you”, and “I want to know what love is”.
